Descriptions
A Timing Plate on a Camshaft is a small metal Plate that is attached to the end of the Camshaft. The Timing Plate has markings or notches that indicate the position of the Camshaft relative to the Engine's Crankshaft. The Timing Plate is an essential component in the Engines Timing parts, which controls the opening and closing of the Engine Valves. The assembly of the Timing Plate consists of parts like the Pin and Plate placed in the Rear Camshaft Cover.
