Reliable Temperature Measurement for Gearbox Oil Applications
The TSS Type K Thermocouple, Model BE-AT-240-XX-SS-14-U-K-4, is an industrial temperature sensing assembly designed for reliable monitoring of gearbox oil temperature in demanding process environments. Manufactured by TSS Singapore, this thermocouple features an ungrounded junction and a robust 316 stainless steel sheath, providing dependable sensing performance and mechanical protection.
The thermocouple is constructed with a 1/4-inch outside diameter × 4-inch long 316 SS sheath and is supplied with 20 feet of Teflon-insulated thermocouple wire with flexible armour. This configuration provides suitable protection for the sensing cable in industrial installations while allowing flexible routing from the temperature measurement point to the monitoring system.
Configured for Type K temperature measurement and connection to an intrinsically safe system, this thermocouple is well suited for continuous temperature monitoring of gearbox lubrication systems and other industrial equipment.
