This 1/2″ Sch 80 CPVC True Union Ball Valve, EPDM, (SOC x SOC) is a true union ball valve open and closes a ball inside with a full sized hole with a quarter turn of the handle. The integrated unions allow the valve to be easily installed or removed. Socket connections are joined to pipe of the same diameter with solvent welding. CPVC is a higher temperature version of PVC and has better chemical resistances. EPDM seals provide effective sealing with resistances to several chemicals over a wide range of temperatures.
