Spectrex 20/20MPI-M – Compact Triple IR (IR3) Flame Detector
The Spectrex 20/20MPI-M delivers advanced fire detection technology in a compact and cost-effective package. Utilizing triple infrared (IR3) sensors, it provides fast, reliable flame detection with superior immunity to false alarms, making it ideal for commercial and indoor applications.
Designed with a lightweight polycarbonate housing, the 20/20MPI-M is easy to install and requires minimal power, while still offering a wide 100° field of view and detection ranges of up to 43 meters (140 ft) for hydrocarbon-based fires. Its built-in test (BIT) capabilities, both manual and automatic, ensure continuous system integrity and operational confidence.
Featuring a 0–20 mA stepped output and RS-485 Modbus compatibility, this detector integrates seamlessly into modern fire and safety systems. With rapid response times of just 5 seconds and flexible alarm settings, it delivers dependable protection for environments such as airports, train stations, shopping centers, storage facilities, and public buildings.
